Los Angeles coroner, Ed Winter, stated his office will not speculate on the cause of death of award winning singer, Whitney Houston, who died this past Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the age of 48. She was found dead in the bathroom of her hotel suite.
The County Coroner’s office has disowned all reports in the press, claiming they stated the cause of death is a pharmaceutical drug overdose, alcohol poising and drowning. Due to Houston’s history of drug abuse and alcoholism, this has been widely assumed. Houston was also seen behaving erratically the day before her death, skipping in a Beverly Hilton Hotel ballroom and doing handstands in the pool area.
The late U.S. President John F. Kennedy, took the virginity of 19-year-old White House intern, Mimi Alford, nee Beardsley, in his bedroom at the official residence. Kennedy was 45-years of age at the time and did these deeds behind his wife’s back. Alford writes of their 18-month affair in her book “Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F Kennedy and Its Aftermath.”
Alford indicates she fell in love with Kennedy, but her words also portray him as a sexual predator and philanderer using her for sex. For example, Kennedy thought so little of her, on two occasions he requested she perform oral sex on other men for his sexual gratification. Kennedy requested Alford perform oral sex on his friend Dave Powers, which she did in the White House pool in the president’s presence. He also requested she perform oral sex on his brother, Ted Kennedy, but she refused.

Alford describes an incident at a party, held at the home of Hollywood entertainer, Bing Crosby. A partygoer began passing around the taboo drug amyl nitrate, which Kennedy forced her to take, as a sex aid. Alford’s book does not paint a pretty picture of Kennedy, known for conducting a number of extramarital affairs, which left his wife Jackie Kennedy heartbroken. Alford’s affair with Kennedy ended one week before he was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, struck down by a madman’s bullet.
Josh Powell, the main suspect in the disappearance of his wife, Susan Powell, emailed his attorney a message stating, “I’m sorry, goodbye.” Shortly after, a gas leak, allegedly triggered by Powell, created an explosion that ripped through his Washington home. Powell and his two small children, ages 5 and 7, who were at his home for a supervised visit, were killed in the explosion and ensuing blaze.
An unprecedented riot after a football game in Egypt turned deadly, as crowds disagreed with the score of 3-1 against the nation’s top team, who were defeated. 74 people have died and over 1,000 have been left injured. It was a stunning display of hooliganism, as fights broke out and people were stoned.
Due to the violence the army struggled to control and contain, because of the sheer number of people in the venue, another key match was cancelled, leading ticket holders to set the stadium on fire.
